Natural Falls: Oklahoma’s Waterfall

Natural Falls WaterfallNatural Falls is a beautiful spot in the northeastern part of Oklahoma.  Located in Natural Falls State Park this 77 foot waterfall is tied with Turner Falls as the tallest waterfall in the state.  Easy to get to with a parking lot within I would say 100 yards or so of the waterfall this is a perfect drive by destination.  There are two spots for seeing the falls, the overlook and a short semi-steep steep trail that will take you to the base of Natural Falls. Dripping SpringsWhen I first moved to Oklahoma I thought there was not a lot to see.  However, since the birth of my 2 little girls have led my traveling ways a little bit closer to home I have found a greater appreciation for the state.  Natural Falls and places like it will do that to a person.  Natural Falls State park is a beautiful little area and an Oklahoma don’t miss.
