3 Day Guide to Grand Teton National Park

Historic Mormon RowGrand Teton National Park is a wonderful place to spend a few days, especially if you are on your way going to or coming from Yellowstone National Park.  It can also be a destination all by itself, but I think a lot of times it is overlooked by most visitors on their way to Yellowstone.  My wife and I have been there twice in our five years of marriage, and I had traveled through once before on a college road trip and I still have not seen all there is to offer in the Tetons, but I know Grand Teton National Park will definitely be a place we keep returning to, it is that special.Lake Shore Foot TrailThis three day guide to Grand Teton National Park is designed with families in mind and those that are traveling on a limited budget.  So no hot air balloon rides or tandem hang gliding.  If you are looking for information on that I am sure some fancy “budget” travel magazine or big box travel website can tell you all about those things.  This three day guide is geared more towards normal people looking for extraordinary experiences.Family PictureI have divided up each day into two categories, one for the serious vacationer and one for the more laid back approach.  What I mean by the serious vacationer is the person that is up before the sun looking to get the perfect lighting for that perfect picture.  The more laid back approach is leaving the cabin, tent, or hotel room around 9 in the morning.  This 3 day guide to Grand Teton National Park is solely based on our personal experiences in the park and the research we did to get ready for our trip.  It is also written as if you are staying in the town of Jackson or the Southern portion of the park.  Hope you enjoy and like always we wish you Happy Travels!!!
