33 week photo
We had a great week 33 getting lots of things accomplished. We are ready to lay wood flooring in the formal living room and dining room, I got a lot of work done for my jobs this week and M is doing better and better with her sleep. Hooray for steps in the right direction!
We ran a lot of errands on Sunday, picking up things at Home Depot, the flooring store, we even did some furniture shopping. All the sales people ooh’d and aah’d over baby M. They always seem to comment on her big bright eyes. She’s such a cutie!
I can’t believe how content this little sweetheart is almost every second of the day. She is rarely ever upset and when she is there is a reason for it and I can usually quickly remedy the situation. She doesn’t always like having her diaper changed, she is usually very cooperative, but occasionally she will fuss during a change. She also doesn’t like changing her clothes. I think it is mostly putting things on and off over her head that is a struggle, but even those times it is more of a “I don’t think I like this very much” and not a screaming cry. I am so thankful for my sweet little dolly girl, she is such a blessing!
I love her so much! I love having her soft little body in my arms, even when we go run an errand, while I am driving and she is in her carseat for a short drive, once we arrive I can’t wait to get her out and smooch her I miss her so much!
Highlight of the week:
Karen- Having a three day weekend with Daddy! He was off work for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, so we worked hard all weekend on painting and flooring in our formal living room. We can’t wait to check that off our list and have it ready for M to crawl right in there.
Kenny- It has been a great week overall, it is so much fun raising her, she makes it easy most of the time.
Product we’re loving:
Karen- I’ve been making some good use of my food processor that I got for my birthday. We have been pureeing several different foods for baby M to try out.
Kenny- My brother got M a fun little giraffe puppet for Christmas, she has really been liking that puppet this week. We named him Charlie and he has got a fun little voice that Karen does for her.
Struggle:
Karen- It is hard for me to not be able to give every area of my life 100% of my attention. I am kind of a perfectionist (you wouldn’t know it to see my house right now) but having a sweet little baby I have to pull back my attention from several different areas because she is absolutely depending on me for her survival. My house and my jobs and myself have to take a hit sometimes and that is really hard for me.
Kenny- Just trying to find a good balance, I’ve got work then soccer practice then so much to do around the house, it’s hard to make it all work sometimes.
Karen- She makes everything I do a little bit harder but a whole lot more fun!
Kenny- She doesn’t have many teeth (only two) but they are sharp, she’s like a little beaver.
