Sunday Scripture: Psalm 16:9

Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will rest secure

Last weeks verse was Proverbs 10:4, “Lazy hands make a man poor, but diligent hands bring wealth.”  I think Kenny took this verse to heart more than I did. He has really been working hard getting our house ready for little baby M to be mobile and moving around. He ripped up carpet, removed carpet tacks and we have ordered the remainder of the wood flooring that we need to have our floors FINISHED! It will be an exciting day when we put that last board in place. This weekend could have been a busy few days of work, I’m sure Kenny could have accomplished a lot, but there was something even more important for us to do this weekend. We traveled out of town to meet our precious little niece and congratulate my sister and brother-in-law on a little bundle of joy. There is no place we would rather be.

This week we couldn’t help but choose a verse about rejoicing.  Witnessing baby M meeting her little cousin was just a very special sweet moment.  I think it makes Kenny and I really realize how blessed we are.  My sister and I were talking about how very much we love our precious baby girls.  It sometimes feels like our hearts will explode they are just so full of love.  It is just unbelievable to think that God loves you even more than that!
