I always have a hard time deciding how to group photography in frames in our home. It is especially hard to narrow down which pictures to use when my hubby is such a great photographer. But somehow for M’s nursery photo arrangement I just knew exactly what I wanted. Of course I drew some inspiration for the arrangement off pinterest, but when it came down to it Kenny and I just grouped the frames in a nice layout on the floor, tweeking them as we went until we came to the perfect nursery photo arrangement.
We used this special blue M to anchor the top of the grouping. It was painted by my sweet sister Lori, M’s aunt, and was a part of my baby shower. The large center picture as well as the black and white photo on the lower right are some of my favorite maternity photos. In the upper right is my precious baby shower invitation. I’m sure you can see the two big animal photographs, a giraffe (my favorite and a theme in M’s nursery) as well as a Momma and baby elephant. These two are some of my favorite animal photographs that Kenny took when we visited The Oklahoma City Zoo.
The bottom center is a quote from Cinderella ‘A dream is a wish your heart makes’, because we want our sweet baby to always dream big and have the courage to follow those dreams. The bottom left photo is when Kenny and I released PINK balloons at our gender reveal (click on the link to see a video of our gender reveal), such an exciting moment in all of our lives.
And last but not least is a cute elephant print that I found on etsy. It is a precious quote ‘first we had each other, then we had you, now we have everything’, and the elephants fit with her animal theme.
We tried to be economical with all the frames, using some that we had around the house as well as several that I found at a local thrift store. The big frame in the center was $1.50 and on sale for half off, SCORE! My sweet Kenny happily painted them all white for me.
I’m hoping that getting this grouping for M’s nursery finished and loving it so much will inspire me to get more pictures framed for our other rooms.
