Bumpdate: 34 weeks

34 weeks pregnantHow Far Along: 34 weeks, I can’t believe it’s going so fast now!!

Total Weight Gain/Loss: I am up 23 pounds now.

Maternity Clothes: I have been wearing a lot of maternity (and stretchy non maternity) dresses here recently just to  deal with the warm weather.  It definitely feels cooler to be in a breezy dress or skirt.  This dress above is the black one I bought on sale at Motherhood Maternity last week as my backup baby shower dress.

Gender: Sugar and spice and everything nice, it’s a perfect little girl.  I’m having a blast getting her nursery ready.  My wonderful Mom even sewed some cutesy curtains that match her bedding.  They are just precious.

Movement: She is still moving up a storm and I love every second of it.  Sometimes it feels like a big rolling push all the way across my stomach.  I can’t even imagine what it will be like when she’s not inside there anymore.  I think I will miss her sweet movements.  Although feeling her move in my arms may be even more special!

Sleep: Oh man, I have been burning the midnight oil recently.  Well, maybe the 11:30 oil anyway.  I am ready to fall asleep on the couch about eight o’clock again like I used to.  I think I’m just working on too many projects right here in the last few weeks of pregnancy.

What I miss:  Energy and being able to stand up and walk around with out wearing out and getting puffy feet and ankles.  It’s okay though, I would do it again in a heartbeat for our precious baby girl.

Cravings: I have still been craving grilled chicken salads with thick yummy ranch dressing.  I’ve also been eating a lot of eggs and rice.  For lunch today I had eggs and rice with a side salad ha ha!

Best Moment this week: Going extreme shopping with my Mom getting fabric for McKenna’s precious drapes and fabric to line the back of a cabinet I’m moving into her nursery.  We literally went to three different fabric stores and two of them we visited TWICE!  What can I say, I guess I’m picky.

I also had fun shopping with my sweet hubby who patiently visited five different furniture stores so I could sit in about seven hundred chairs trying to find that perfect nursery glider rocker recliner.  Luckily I think we found a really nice one.

What a special time in your life. It does go fast. I’m glad you are enjoying it, and I love to go shopping with you. The curtain fabric you picked is georgious and the nursery is looking goooood.
