Bumpdate: 31 weeks

31 weeks pregnant How Far Along: 31 weeks, scary but exciting at the same time

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Woo Hoo! I maintained the same weight this week, up twenty pounds.  I’m still trying to eat more protein, I think that’s helping with the weight maintenance.

Maternity Clothes: Well, I went shopping for a cute dress for my shower and some new bras but came up empty handed…boo.  I’ll have to try some different stores I guess.

Gender: It’s a precious little girl!  We’ve chosen the name McKenna Piper, so cute!

Movement: She is moving all the time!  I think this has got to be one of the funnest parts of pregnancy.  I love feeling her move and kick and jab and roll.  It is so amazing and a constant reminder of the little life that I’m carrying inside me.

Sleep:  Still sleeping pretty good at night.  We’ve been having some freak thunderstorms and even tornadoes in some parts of the state, but I’m able to just sleep through them all.  I do have to get up several times per night to use the restroom though.

What I miss: I miss being able to help Kenny with our home improvement projects.  We are trying to get the wood floors installed in our living room and it is so hard not being able to help like I used to.  I get winded and tired so fast, I can’t lift any weight, I feel like a buffalo trying to get down to the floor and back up again.  It’s okay though.  Kenny is tough and more than willing to do the work himself.  And I wouldn’t change things for anything.

Cravings: My stomach is definitely not able to hold as much as it used to.  I can go from starving to FULL in a matter of minutes.  I have been craving chocolate this week.  I’m trying not to intake caffeine so that pretty much limits my chocolate eating.

Best Moment this week:  They are all pretty great here recently.  I’m loving getting our sweet baby girls nursery together and getting some remodeling projects done on the house.
