Wildlife Photography: Number 25 Bull Elk or Blue Jellyfish

I could not determine between the two of these wildlife photography pictures which one was the best.  I liked the bull elk photograph because it reminds me of one my favorite places in the state of Oklahoma, the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge.  I need to blog about it because if you live in the Oklahoma area and have not gone then you definitely need to.  The other was Karen’s 25th pick and it is a photograph of blue jellyfish from an aquarium that we have visited. I cannot remember which one it is but you can see the ones that we have blogged about here.
Bull ElkThe picture of the bull elk was taken at a wildlife refuge in Oklahoma.  Karen and I like going to different wildlife refuges for a variety of reasons, but probably the most important reason is that we have never gone to a crowded one before.  We both like being able to see local wildlife in a natural setting.  They also make for good photo opportunities.  I like this picture because Karen and I were going for a hike at the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge and came across this bull elk bugling.  At the distance we were from him we did not want to disturb the elk so I used my Canon Powershot SX10IS to zoom in and took several photos.  I like how the lower half of the body is concealed by the prairie grass.  I like the rustic feeling I get from the picture.
Blue JellyfishThe picture of the blue jellyfish was taken at an aquarium and Karen likes it because of its uniqueness.  Whenever we are in the ocean one of the main things we are always on the lookout for is jellyfish.  Not to take its picture, but to get the heck out of the area.  Luckily we have not been stung yet, but we have had a few close calls. Karen just about  pushed me into one when we were on vacation down off the coast of St. Thomas.  However, whenever we go to an aquarium one of our favorite things to see there are the tanks with the jellyfish in them which seems a little ironic now that I think about it.

Well, let us know which picture you like better.  Was I right with the bull elk or did Karen make the right choice.  Please vote below or comment, and as always thanks for reading!
