Wildlife Photography

Buffalo at the Grand TetonsI just recently finished my top 25 photographs that I have taken so far, and it was very good for me to go back through my portfolio and see how much I have grown as an amateur photographer over the last couple of years.  If you are interested in checking out my top 25 you can by clicking here.   One of my favorite things to photograph is wildlife.  Going back through my pictures I had not realized just how many wildlife photographs I had taken, sorry honey!  I hope you did not mind all that time waiting on me to take one more shot at a national park, zoo, wildlife refuge, or the squirrel that keeps leaving the neighbors bird food in front of our garage.
Wood Duck 1I guess it is because when I was a kid I always thought it would have been wonderful to become a marine biologist or a zoologist.  I would have never made a great veterinarian because my hands shake sometimes if I do not eat enough or the right types of food, which might explain some of my photography at times.  However, I think I could have done well in studying animals or making documentaries about them.  Alas, it was not meant to be, but it does not mean I should give up on my dream completely.  Having a hobby like photography has given me a second chance on a childhood dream.
Gator and CraneI have gone back and picked out the top 25 wildlife pictures that I have taken from a variety of places.  I will not include any of the ones that I used for my top 25 photographs that I have taken because that seems a little redundant.  Feel free to comment about any of the pictures or posts and if you have any questions I will try to answer them the best I can.  Like always thanks for reading!
